Richmond Community Orchestra rehearsals summer rehearsal schedule begins on Monday June 4th at 6:30 pm in Goddard Auditorium, located in Carpenter Hall on the Earlham College Campus.

Richmond Community Orchestra’s May concert will feature popular music from Broadway and Hollywood!

Overture from Kismet by Robert Wright & George Forrest, from the Broadway musical and film Kismet
Pines of Rome (Finale) by Ottorino Respighi, featured in Fantasia 2000
The Land of the Mountain and the Flood, by Hamish MacCrunn
Pennywhistle Jig by Henry Mancini, from the film The Molly Maguires – Featuring soloist Jessie Arriola, Piccolo
The Sea Hawk
by Erich Wolfgang Korngold, from the film The Sea Hawk
The Wild, Wild West
by Richard Markowitz, theme from the TV series The Wild, Wild West
Broadway Tonight!

RCO’s first concert of 2012 will feature soloists Amy Noe on Flute and Kevin Schmidt on Cello. The program will include about 60 minutes of works by Wagner, Mozart, Dvorak, Brahms, Saint-Saens, and Rimsky-Korsakov.
